Andy,

Placide Huval & Marie Tarsile Bernard had 9 sons [including one set of
twins]. Six [including the twins] died at birth or shortly thereafter. The
other 3 died in early childhood. They had 3 daughters - one died in early
childhood. Marie Tarsile died 7/24/1833 at age 37 [record incorrectly shows
age 40].

I am looking for the marriage date for Jean Baptiste [dit Jean Blondin]
HUVAL [UVAL] and Anne DOUCET [DOUSSET]. I am also looking for the parents of
Anne DOUCET as well. Their son Placide HUVAL married Marie Tarsile BERNARD
[Jean BERNARD & Marguerite BROUSSARD] 5 Jan 1813 in St. Martinville, La. [SM
Ch.: v.5, #279, SWLR, v.2-A, 1811-1818]. This may possibly be recorded in
the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Any help would be appreciated.
