died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2002, in a Lake Charles hospital.
He was employed by El Paso. He worked in the oil industry for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Taber of Gueydan; one son, Neil
Gaspard of Gueydan; four daughters, Monique T. Bercier of Cameron,
Ginger
T. LeBeouf of Lake Charles, Gunilla T. Willson of Grand Lake and Ashley

rosary at 7 p.m. in Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Mr. Thibodeaux
died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, in his residence. A native of Abbeville, he
lived in Lake Charles. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was retired
from the Calcasieu Parish School Board. He was a member of VFW Post
2130. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Survivors
include one son, Dean J. Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; two sisters, Inez
Clement of Centerville and Bernice Melancon of Shreveport; three
grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and
five step-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Immaculate
Conception Cathedral or American Heart Association, the family said.

hospital.

She was a native of Erath.

Erath; three daughters, Susan Ruffin and Lisa Falgout, both of Erath,
and Sheryl O'Neal of Brusly; one brother, Dudley Frederick of Erath; 11

Mr. Trahan died at 5:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, in his residence. He
was a native of Lake Arthur. He was a graduate of Gueydan High School.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired
pipefitter with Local 106. Survivors include his wife, Betty Harris
Trahan of Lake Charles; three sons, Patrick Aaron Trahan of Sulphur,
Michael Gene Boyd of Lake Charles and Jerry A. Boyd of Baton Rouge; one
daughter, Debbie Trahan Hooker of Orange, Texas; six brothers, Louis O.
Trahan Jr. of Lake Arthur, Allen Wardell Trahan of Westlake, Richard
"Dickie" Trahan and Murriel Trahan, both of Iota, Melvin Trahan of

Mr. Trahan died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, in Lafayette.
A native of Kaplan, he had lived in Lake Charles for 55 years. He was a
retired longshoreman and a member of the Longshoreman's Association. He
was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Elvis Trahan of Lake Charles; one daughter,
Leola Patin of Lafayette; one sister, Livie Viljoin of Winnie, Texas; 19
grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two
great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Neal (Madeline) Trahan, 47, will be at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Trahan died at 12:22 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, in a Lafayette
hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of the Lake Arthur-Gueydan area. She
graduated from Lake Arthur High School and Louisiana Technical
College/Crowley Campus. She was an office manager for Dr. Mark Petry.
She was a co-founder of the Bosom Buddies cancer support group and a
member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Survivors include her
husband; two daughters, Mrs. Cody (Heather) Dupuis and Mrs. Ronald
(Leah) Broussard, both of Lake Arthur; two sons, Dustin Trahan of
Lafayette and Ryan Trahan of Gueydan; two sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Sherry)
Crochet of Lake Arthur and Mrs. Kevin (Lana) McGee of Jennings; two
brothers, Keith Hymel and Dennis Hymel, both of Lake Arthur; his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen R. (Jessie) Hymel of Lake Arthur; and one
grandchild.
