Yvon Cyr's site states that Anne Prince was born about 1720 but my records
show about 1724. She had a sister named Anne Josephe Prince who was born
about 1720 and married Basile Thibodeaux. The parents were Antoine Prince
[Le Prince] and Anne Trahan. Sylvain LeBlanc's parents were Jean LeBlanc
and Jeanne Bourgeois. Jean's parents were Andre and Marie Dugas.

Anastasie was your 1st cousin, six time removed and my 2nd cousin 6 times
removed.

Another Holiday for us to celebrate.

I was in Paris for it in both 1970 & 1971. (I was in Europe on a government
sponsored plan. Enough said.) My pictures went glubglub in Katrina. Sorry.

Anyone going to a party/ceremony?

We did loose an Acadian mother & daughter to the Guillotine.? They were
among the about 600 "we left behind". Besides the 1600 that came from exile
in France to Louisiana in 1785, About 1772 another 300-600 went through the
Channel Islands to "Canada". There were several other attempts to use
Acadians as settlers elsewhere.

They were arrested because they rented a room to a priest that was on the
"wanted list". Anyone have a reference and more details?
