Hello. I was told a long time ago that there were quite a few by the surname of Acree in the Mayfield, Kentucky area.
I have no idea if that is the same county or not, but if it is not, you may want to check there.
I have found that if their name is Acree or Acrey, they usually do not leave much of a trail.
There was a set in Tennessee and there was also a set in Georgia that went west. I connect to the Georgia bunch that was nearly all girls and they married and all stayed in Arkansas. My father-in-law Joe was the only son.
