Elsie, If you send the standard fee for a service record or pension record,
what you get is a representative sampling of papers from the man's file, NOT
necessarily every record in the man's file. In the case of pension records
especially, the standard fee rarely gets you the entire file. If you are
willing to pay more, on the margin of the form write in "Send to a limit of
$25.00," or $50.00, or whatever it is you are willing to pay to get
everything in the file. And if you want to speed things up, give them your
credit card number and expiration date, or the process will take even longer.
