John Adair's 1st wife may have been Ellen Crawford and their son John Adair
Jnr. b. Nov 11 1783 was the father of Elizabeth Melvin (nee Adair) b.July
13 1806, Madison Co. OH.
John Adair Snr. m.(2ndly?) Mary O'Donnell and cemetery inscriptions of
Madison Co., OH, show he died Nov 3 1824. John was the founder of the Presbyterian
Church in Knoxville, TN.
Did John go to Canada before moving back down to Madison ?
