Message Board Post:

Am a little confused if the name was BRYAN or BYRON, but perhaps the undermentioned deed of Hugh BRYAN may give a clue to some as to which JAMES ADAIR may have probated the deed with Seaborn JONES in 1774 ?

Would an Adair have been in the militia under a Capt. / Col. (whatever) Bryan or Byron c.1774 or was James Adair working with Seaborn Jones & Adrian Mayer in the Granville Co, SC Probate Office ? Any clues anyone on Seaborn Jones ?
