Charles ADAIR (distant cousin of Robert Adair d.1737 of Hollybrook, co. Wicklow) listed in the Griffith Valuation.

In 1722 Robert SPENCE and his sons Robert SPENCE and Ralph sold the Lareen Estate (Derry ?) to Charles Leslie of Kilcraigy, Co. Donegal and
Robert HOUSTON of Derry.

The sale included lands at Duncarbery, Doobally, Towntallon Edenville, Gobbonemee, Drumboy, Buckode, Mullinaleck and the islands on Lough Melvin, as well as the fairs and markets of Tullaghan and the salmon fishing of Bundrowes.
In a will of Dr. Nicholas FORSTER, Bishop of Raphoe, 4 Sep 1742 there is mention of his sister Jane (who had m. Robert ADAIR d.1737 of co. Longford and co. Wicklow), and of Rev. Robert SPENCE, rector of Donaghmore Parish, Diocese of Derry, and of Boleyn WHITNEY.
The Forster, Spence & Whitney families were related to the Robert Adair (d.1737) family.
