I'm looking for any and all information I can get on John Adams of
Charles Co., MD. John came to America sometime around 1700 m. Elizabeth
Nailor sometime around 1717 and had five children...

John Adams, b. 19 Feb 1718 Charles Co., MD m. Sarah Stacy Gibbons
(They moved to Fauquier Co., VA)
They had nine children....more on them later.

Thomas Randolph Greenfield Adams, b 1722 Charles Co., MD m Elizabeth
Swan(n) (They moved to KY. Thomas died in Madison Co., KY)
They had nine children...One of their sons (Edward) moved to Jackson
Co., GA.

George Adams, b. 1725 Charles Co., MD m. Ann Gibbons (sister of
Sarah). His will was from Prince George Co., MD
They had six children...more on them later.

Richard Adams, b. 1726 and d. 1761. Don't know who he married,
but they did have four children.

Luke Adams, don't know birth information, d. 1741. He apparently
never married and was a carpenter by trade.

All research on this family is constantly under construction. John was
my gggggggrandfather. About 3 years ago, my husband and I found the
house he and Sarah lived in and I was able to go inside and look
around...it is still in use and in fantastic condition. We also found a
small cemetery in the field behind the house that has three and possibly
a fourth grave in it. When we returned the following year it was in the
exact same condition we had left it the year before...just like time had
stopped there.

Several of the descendants of this family were members of Mosby's
Rangers.

Any information greatly appreciated. Everybody have a beautiful day.
