Subject: Listowner message to all aol, compuserve users

Hi everyone, I know that yesterday we had serious aol problems, and many
(all but 10) of the aol users had to be deleted from the list, because my
mailbox was inundated with perminent failure 550 user unkown error messages
from aol. I have copied one of the messages, and one of the messages that I
received from an aol user to this message, in case you want to contact aol.
They are having major, major problems, and the product of those problems is
causing caos on the internet. I am very sorry that I had to delete so many
of you, but the error messages were clogging my mailbox, my carrier could
not keep up with them, much less me. If this happens, and you get a message
saying you have been unsubscribed to any MAISER list, and you are an aol,
or compuserve user, it is an error through aol. We will probably see this
until they get there system fixed. JUST RESUB, and try to send me a private
message about what happened so that I can contact aol, also. Unfortunately,
the only thing that will prevent this for sometime to come, is to change
your isp. Sorry about this, all of us are doing all we can to solve this
problem on our lists. Why it was only one list yesterday, I can't tell you.
I guess just the luck of the draw, or maybe because we start with an "A".
If you have ever had ADAMS as your surname, you have learned by now, you
will always be first, or almost always, in line. <bwg>

P.S. If anyone on any of my lists is ever removed because of something that
is inappropriate, they will be warned first, with a specific message saying
they are in danger of being removed, and then they will get a letter
stating they have been removed, and why. I am very fortunate to have never
had a major problem on any of my lists. You are great people!!
