Hendry, Jacob Teator, James Armour, Geo. Hise, Richard Crump, Peter Arrand.
Evidence: Eliza Cautledge, Isabella Moore, James Barry, Toras Velmut, JOHN
CLAYTON, Henry Baker, Jos. White, Catharine Alexander. [verdict illegible].

19 Jan 1762 - Rowan Co.,NC - A deed from George Smith to John Adams. Mentions
that John is indentured to George Smith for one year. 229 or 249 acres on
north fork of Coine/Crain Creek joining George Smith and Conrad/Conrod
Michel. Mentions also "Covenant of Grant". This deed is all but destroyed,
the whole left side is gone, due to scotch tape and is impossible to read.

13 Jun 1778 - Surry Co.,NC - HENRY BANNER enters 350 acres in Surry Co. lying
on both sides of Ruff Fork adjoining the Moravian Line, JOHN ADAMS and my own
line including my improvement. Warrant granted to H. S. [Henry Speer].

12 Oct 1778 - Surry Co.,NC - JOHN ADAMS, SENR. enters 300 acres of land in
Surry Co. on Ruff Fork adjoining HENRY BANNER including my improvement for
quantitiy. Warrant granted to T. Adams, Jr.

2 Jan 1779 - Surry Co.,NC - PHILLIP CLAYTON enters 100 acres of land in Surry
Co. on both sides of Rockey Branch waters of the Buffelow Creek adjoining
JOHN ADAMS' line including my improvement for quantity. Warrant granted to C.
M [Charles McAnally].

15 Jan 1779 - Surry Co.,NC - WILLIAM ADAMS enters 140 acres of land in Surry
Co. on Reed Fork the waters of the Townfork adjoining JOHN ADAMS' line
including my own for improvement. Warrant granted.

Feb 1779 - Surry Co.,NC - {No date given but falls in Feb 1779}- Henry
Hendricks enters 100 acres of land in Surry Co. on the waters of the Townfork
adjoining ABRAHAM MARTIN, MARTIN ARMSTRONG, and JOHN ADAMS including his own
improvement. Warrant granted.167

11 Aug 1785 - Surry Co.,NC - Ordered John Adams, Senior be exempt paying Poll
Tax in future.

26 Feb 1795 - Stokes Co.,NC - JOHN ADAMS, Washington Co.,Va. to JACOB MOUNTS
10pds 111 acres waters of Buffaloe Ck. tract grant to JOHN ADAMS by State
adjoining WILLIAM ADAMS, JOHN CLAYTON, JOHN ADAMS,SENIOR & land belonging to
Heirs PHILLIP CLAYTON decd. including JACOB MOUNTS house and plantation where
he now lives. Signed JOHN ADAMS. Witnesses: Chas. Banner and Benjamin
Banner.
