Hi, its been awhile I hope someone can connect.
My dbl. great grandma is Martha Malinda Adams b. 28 Feb. 1838 Tenn. She
married a white man-Samuel Phariss Tn.
Her father is also a white man James Adams b. E. Ten. her mother is
Elizabeth Thompson b. N.C. (possibly of Cherokee descent)
Her grandparents are James Adams (also from E. Ten) & ?

This is it. I haven't been able to find anything else.
