Leila Raye,

You may find something in"The Handbook of Texas". The URL is
<http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/index.html>;
I found my GG grandfather Dr. Allensworth Adams by putting in Allensworth. If you put in a name that is rare, you may have luck. You can put in both names but always get things you do not need. Just go through them and maybe you will find one that you want.

Good luck, Maxine
