Hi,
I am trying to connect a Nancy Elizabeth Cooper born Jan 26, 1860 in
Salyersville, Magoffin County to a John Wesley Cooper born Floyd/Letcher
County in 1849/1850.
Nancy Had 2 brothers, William born Jan 1856 and Tom born 1868 (not positive
of these dates) Nancy's mother was Martha Jane Adams (Cooper).
John Wesley Cooper married Mary Jane Watkins on DEC 24, 1868 in Floyd
County. In the 1870 census of Floyd County John, his wife Mary, a daughter
Lydia and a Nancy age 11 are found.
On John Wesley death CERT his son gives John's mothers maiden name as
Adams. Also John and Mary named 2 of there sons William and Thomas. Any
connections or help on where to search will be greatly appreciated.
