Meredith: Unless there is another Ed Adams out there, than you did not foul
up as the note below is the only one I received and no resume was attached.

Regarding the Adams/Boyd connection: I have not been able to connect to the
Adams/Boyd family. My gg grandfather, Daniel Adams, who was the grand son of
George Adams of Rockinghan Co., NC settled on the Hardin/Henderson Co., TN
line. John Adams, son of Sylvester and Rebecca Boyd Adams, was in Henderson
Co., TN about the same time. Twelve miles away in Adamsville, McNairy Co., TN
was another George Adams who was from VA. It seems to me that there may be
more than just a coincidence that there were three Adams families within such
a small area.
John Adams was in Humphrey Co., TN prior to going to Henderson Co and about
the same time Daniel was in Williamson Co., TN prior to going to Hardin Co.

Could your George Adams be a son of my George in Rockingham Co., NC? Please

<< Ed, How do you see your Adams connecting to Humphrey Co? I see lots of
Sylvester Adams (Sr for Tn, Jr for Va) Jr, other Adams' families are
Samuel, Sarah, Rebecca, Thomas, Richard and the all the families who married
into the Chambers (including the Chambers), Jernigan, Henley, Thompsons and
some Conleys. I see no Boyds in the 1812 tax list, 1820 or 1830 census.

I know that my George Adams bn 1790 Va married Sarah Boyd 1808 Person Co
NC,
Fanny Chambers 1814 Person Co, NC, Eliz Conley after 1840 Robertson Co and
is probably connected to the Halifax Adams in some way.

There are many Adams, Syl Jr and Sr, Richard W., Samuel, Benjamin, Thomas ,
John, Sarah and Rebecca all in seperate listings. Any ideas? Meredith
