I have a William D. Adams born 1834 in Twiggs County, Georgia. The family
moved to Muscogee/Chattahoochee County, Georgia. He was with his family
(Richard & Catherine) on the 1850 Census. He was not with them on the 1860
census. I did not find a Civil War Record for him in Georgia and have found
nothing further on him. I have not really engaged in a hard search. My
ancestor was his brother, James A., who was born 1832 in Jones County,
Georgia. Do you have a definite birth date of 1830? I have no idea if our
William had a nickname. If I can help you further let me know.

Val,

Could you check and see if you happen to have a William "Buck" Adams in your
line, born in Georgia about 1830? He moved to Louisiana something prior to
1860.
