I believe we hace e-mail each other before but i am Johnnie Adams and from
the Benjamin Adams line

I have been researching the John Adams line from NC and Johnson county for a
number of years and have found over 2000 descendants of John Adams and Rhoda
Johnson and his second wife Ruth McDilda also tenn Marriged license show he
married a Mary Jones abt 1855.

Also records in Johnson Countt courthouse show that James C Adams was son of
Mary Adams, a Samuel McQueen had to pay a bastardly bond which was comman
back then for children born out of wedlock, James married a Martha and fought in
the civil war and was wounded in Battle of Bull Run in Tenn, He had a son
namedJohn and lived in Rhea TN where he died and is buried there

I have lots of info on Jason Adams line and would be happy to exchange any
info with you
