The above name fascinates me! My maiden name was Cunningham and my mother's
maiden name was Adamson. I'm sure there is no connection, because my Adamson,
John the Quaker, was here before 1715 and my Cunningham, also John,
(creative, weren't they?) was here by 1765. The Quakers refused to take up
arms, and John Cunningham fought in the Rev. War. Very different.
