Just for fun, I tried this search in Google (spelled just like this):
surname "story/storey"
and got a reasonable number of hits. You were probably hoping for something
more helpful than this, and my apologies if you tried it, but I just
thought I'd mention it in case it works for you.
It works for surname "bach/back" too.
