One person's opinion: I see four children to the left of the tree in photo
9219 - two boys in center (one of which may have his back to camera), one on
far left may be a girl (or may be baby in carriage), and one of far right who
is partially obscured by tree may be a boy (looks like he is wearing a cap
or has dark hair) I wonder if she may be standing behind tree because she does
not have pantaloons and hoops. In photo 27470 that "white blob" appears to
be the white waistshirt of a person on horseback -- the legs of the animal
are quite evident (maybe the same young man standing with two young women in
9219). The age of "baby" in 27034 is a real guess -- appears to be between
about 15 mos. and 2 years old.
As to sequence of the photos. No 27034 seems to be much later than the
other two (size of spruce tree) which look like they were taken the same day
however isn't the front gate missing in 27470?
To me there is a real possibility that these were very contrived pictures
taken every year for some anniversary -- the people tried to dress the same
each year and maybe for these fun photos they recruited a child of approximately
the same age. Note what appears to be baby in carriage in 9219 and a baby
in carriage just inside the gate in 27470.
What a fun puzzle in this set of pictures.
