Sorry--I accidently hit send without typing a reply, so there is a
unintended message.
We think Corwin Bestor in Portage County in 1850 may fit into the mix, but
have no idea how he is related. He'd be a perfect brother for William, but
there's no William in that family.
There is an Almanza Bester in Bainbridge, Geauga County, Ohio in 1840 with
some young children, perfect family for William H. to have been born into in
1841, but we cannot find him later. Almanza seems to be a masculine name.
Evidently this isn't going to be an easy nut to crack, but all suggestions
are appreciated.
