Hi Melissa

Sounds as if we have been doing genealogical research for about the
same number of years.
I would urge people contacting funeral homes to include a check. It
costs you nothing if they don't cash it, and if they are sending you
evidence/documents anyway, returning an unused check doesn't cost
them when it is in your SASE. I feel it is a courtesy and if they
spend it on donuts for their coffee break, that would be just fine :-)
