What is the best person or depository to which I can send information about someone who might have emigrated to Liberia ca. 1843? In his will (Talbot Wills, JP9, f. 249), my gt gt gt grandfather, Thomas Summers, gave his slave Garrison his freedom on condition that he emigrate to Africa. Summers died 29 Nov 1842 in Talbot County, Maryland.
