My grandfather is Dudley James Agnew born 1925, Warren NSW Australia.
His parents were James Agnew (1899) and Eva Gertrude Whitehead
His grandparents were Robert T Agnew (185_?) He arrived in Sydney from
America on boston ship "Starr King" in 1857 with 3 Siblings. He later
married Caroline Atwell in 1876 in Orange in New South Wales.
His great grandparents were John Agnew who arrived in Sydney aged 19 years
in July 1841 on the "Herald with his father, mother brother Robert (9) and
sister mary (15). Sailed to America on boat Sara Burkett leaving Sydney in
1843 to unknown American destination. Unknown wife when he returned to
Australia in 1857. Don't know if he was married to her in the USA or even if
she came to Australia with him.
? that his father was John Thomas Agnew who married a Mary McCredie.

So confusing this line. It is hard tracking family down with such a common
name!!!!
