My ancestors, Samuel N. and his wife Evlyn C. McFerran, and their daughter, Mary Ellen McFerran, also lived in Delaware County, Indiana when David Nation who later married Carrie Nation & the George Moore, father of Carrie Nation along with his wife who was a Campbell and their children, including Carrie, lived there. I think it is thru the McFerran family groups that we are descended from Carrie Nation and Medicine Lodge KS is mentioned--of course that is where David & Carrie Nation moved later. I wonder whether Evlyn C. stands for Campbell. Perhaps she was a sister of Carri'e mother. We are trying to find out. Any clues appreciated. Thanks.
