Subject: [AGS] DAVID WILSON FORREST Query
Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2001 05:48:33 -0600

I am looking for information on my grandfather, DAVID WILSON FORREST, and
his parents and siblings. He was born approximately 6 April 1870 in
Arkansas. According to what he told my mother, he had 3 brothers, Jimmy
(James?), John, and Calvin. He had one sister, Jacquelina.
As a child, he was called "Willie", and as an adult went by "Will". His
father farmed, but we think he was also a blacksmith. My grandfather was a
blacksmith by trade. He married LEONA HALLEY (Haley?) and had four children:
Bessie, Lillie Mae, Claire, and Roy. I do know that Claire married Press
Dearing (who was a building contractor) in Arkansas.
He and his first wife divorced, and he moved to LA. He worked at a paper
mill in Fisher, LA where he met and married my grandmother, MAE WILCOX.
He died when my mother was about 11 years old, and all of the family
history died with him. All of his first set of children are also deceased,
so I have no way to obtain info from them.
What I am looking for is the name of my grandfather's mother and daddy and
any info on the children and grandchildren of his siblings.
