Jim,
One of my favorite resources for looking up places is the USGS web
site located at
<http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/web_query.gnis_web_query_form>.
In this case, I searched for "union", checked the Query Variant Name
item, and entered Dale County, AL -- no more. I got 6 hits back.
The first is Union Cemetery, no doubt the same one enumerated on that
site earlier. The third one is a church. When you follow its link,
you see its variant names are Union Grove Church and Union
Presbyterian Church. That site will help you get a fairly good idea
where the two are located.
Unfortunately, I have no more information than that. Dale County
isn't among those I watch for my ancestors, so I don't have any
cemetery resources for it. Perhaps you could get more help through
some of the message boards at Ancestry or RootsWeb for Dale County.
