The pension application by Susannah Burnett was made for Jeremiah Burnett. He served in Hewlett's 13th Alabama Partisan Ranger Battalion, and later in the 56th Alabama Regiment. I would expect this family to be on the 1860 census for Walker County AL. A number of years ago I published an article about this command because so little had been written about it.
