The AL-VETERANS Mailing List is available in Digest form (AL-VETERANS-D) and Mail form (AL-VETERANS-L).

The -L signifies list mode (you will immediately be sent a copy of every message posted to the list as a single email) and the -D
signifies digest mode (you receive groups of messages every 72 hours, or when the size of the group of messages reaches 40
kilobytes, whichever comes first).

When you are subscribed to a mailing list in digest mode, you receive fewer emails from the list, since each message you receive is
actually a group of postings. Posters to busy mailing lists often find it helpful to subscribe to the list in the digest mode, so
that they have fewer individual emails to review.

The volume of postings on the AL-VETERANS mailing list is extremely light, however. Therefore, I would recommend that digest
subscribers consider switching to list mode. You will then receive the postings in a timely fashion.

If you received this message from AL-VETERANS-L, then you are already subscribed in list mode. There is no action required on your
part.

If you received this message from AL-VETERANS-D, then you may want to switch to list mode.

To switch your subscription, you would first unsubscribe from AL-VETERANS-D. Then you would subscribe to AL-VETERANS-L. Instructions
