<bold><fontfamily><param>Courier</param>Looking for the parents of
William (Granberry ?) WOOD(S). b. VA ca. 1785;m.Nancy SIMMS

Appears on both the 1840 & 1850 census Madison Co. ALA.. Family
tradition states that William died in Houston TX of malaria in 1850

while enroute to Webberville to visit his sons. The WPA compilers of
Ala Records Jones & Gandrud in Vol. 153 pg 45 onthe occasion of son
William's marriage noted that his fathers name was William Grandberry
WOODS. So far this has been a blind alley. The WOODS seem to have a
close relationship with the GLOVERS & CRAFTS
