Records, copyright 1969, Pages 70 & 71, On his gravestone it reads: "A
Patroitic Southerner".He died at the age of 82.) was born November 08,
1772, and died December 16, 1854 (Source: Jasper County, GA., - Cemetery
and Bible Records, copyright 1969, Page 70, On the gravestone of Hannah
reads: "Daughter of Major Lewis D. Martin, Revolutionary Soldier of
Pendleton District, S.C. Left aged husband and 6 children."Aged 59.).
He married Hannah Martin, daughter of Lewis D. Martin.

8. Bolin3 Smith, Jr. (Bolin2, ?1) was born June 22, 1811 in GA.?
Screven Co. (Source: Republic of Texas Poll Lists for 1846 (Mullins
Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., Baltimore, MD, 1974), Page 155,
"Smith, Bolin - Brazoria Co., Fort Bend, TX."), and died February 18,
1870. He married Martha Ann Mock March 17, 1846 in Dallas Co., AL,
daughter of Benjamin Mock and Mary Bryan.

Will of a Bolin Smith (possibly this is Bolin Smith's father) which
reads:
"Georgia, Jasper County -- June 1, 1817
This is to certify that after my death, that I wish Coland and Clayton
to be at liberty and freed from slavery as it has been my opinion, they
in right, ought to be, and if they can't be at ease and liberty in this
state for them to be sent to some other state where they can be at
liberty for them, and to have a reasonable sum out of my estate for a
begining to have till they can do well for themselves. The balance of
my estate to be distributed between my sister Johns, sister Gray, and my
brothers Rolin, and Moses.

Mary Adell Williams October 01, 1883 in Jackson Co., MS (Source: Journal

Pascagoula/ Democrat Star, vol. 39, Friday , Oct. 12, 1883, No. 32,page
2, col. 4: "Married at Milne's Bend 4 Oct. 1883 by Rev. J.W.Ferrill,
E.B.Smith and Mary D. Williams."). He married (3) Laura Bell Denmark

Notes for Elias Bonnell Smith:
(1) The "Old Ferrill Cemetery" is located south of Robinson Cemetery,
south of Church Street, and the west side of Hwy. 43.
(2) According to information read in a book the Sherman family has the
marriage certificate of Elias Bonnell Smith and Unity Hough Ferrill.
(3) At one time Elias Smith owned what is known as "Brick Yard Bluff"
where they made and sold brick. A shipyard is located there now. He
was also a General Merchandise and grocery store owner, which also
included stables, wine presses, and blacksmithing which he did himself.

Died, at Escatawpa, Miss., April 15, 1895, of consumption, Mary A.
Williams Smith, wife of E. B. Smith. Deceased was born in Jackson
county, December 9, 1860. She became a member of the RLDS Church March
16, 1879, having been among the first ones to embrace that faith in this
part of the State. The funeral sermon was preached in the Baptist
church by the writer at 2 p.m., on the 16th inst., Bro. G. R. Ellis, of
Zion M. E. Church, opening with an earnest, feeling prayer, and chosing
with some very touching and appropriate remarks in which he testified to
the Christian character of Sister Smith. Her remains were then followed
to the Ferrell burying ground by a large concourse of sorrowing
relatives and friends, and there laid to rest near two of her little
angel children, whose spirits had gone on before and were there to
welcome her in the house of the blessed. F. P.

was born on the Brazos River, Fort Bend Co., Texas about 12 miles below
Richmond.); died in Meridian, Lauderdale Co., MS. He married Nancy
Louisa Kirkwood August 10, 1876 in Jackson Co., MS (Source: Marriages of
Jackson Co., MS, Record Book #1 (MS Coast Historical & Genealogical
Soc., 1976-77), Page 112, Bondsman E. B. Smith.).
