Hi,
I've just joined this list and need a little help finding my China wall! I
can't seem to find my grgrgrandfather anywhere in AL. Not his wife or
children.

Joseph Franklin YORK b. abt. 1850 (may have been KY or TN)
his son: General Jackson YORK b. 1875 AL. (my grgrandfather)

Another son may have been Lee O. YORK b. 1885/6 AL.

Joseph had more children but I don't have any names for them or for his wife
as of yet.

The family moved from AL after 1886 sometime by 1894 as Joseph became first
postmaster of YORK, I.T., OK in 1894.

If anyone has access to AL census for the year 1880 - just maybe Joseph,
wife, General and other children would be listed. I really don't know where
else to go with this family.
