I have no documented proof, but this is what a GLAZE researcher has told
me:
Our ggrandmother Matilda or Miltilda or Mitilda was born (unknown
place and yr) with the surname CAPPS. Her grandfather's surname was
MCDANIEL and his father was DANIEL.
Matilda is said to have married Jackson GLAZE in Jefferson county, Ala
around 1883. She gave birth to our grandmother Maud or Maude GLAZE
1904/05 in Jefferson county, Ala.
Maude m. Clyde MILLER ? and gave birth to her only child in 1926
Decator, ILL.
Anyone doing any DANIEL/McDANIEL or CAPPS research?
This is the information that I recieved from a fellow GLAZE researcher:

Your grandmother Maude would have been on the same line as my dad
(Thomas H.
Glaze) who was born in Jefferson County, Al in 1906. m. Virginia Johns
Maude's dad was Jackson Glaze b. abt 1877 m. Miltilda Capps
Her grandfather was McDaniel b. 1842 m. Nancy Vines
Her great grandfather Daniel b. 1805 m. Eleanor Carmichael
Her great great grandfather Daniel Sr. b. abt 1770 m. Susan (last name
unknown)
d. 1839
Does anyone have any information on these people? I am trying to find
out some first names for the McDANIEL and DANIEL.
