I am transcribing the 1850 census for The First District of Montgomery County Alabama, for the Census Project. I found a David Findley 35 years old born in Georgia with occupation Os(?Od) Presbyterian Clgy. Wife is E M.
Does he belong to anyone? My Findley's are from SC and Pickens/ Gordon/Bartow/Cherokee Counties in Georgia.
Would like to know if he connects.
