A "tid-bit" from a Tallapoosa County Newspaper:

Mrs. Milly DuBois was born on Line Creek in the year of 1809 in Montgomery
County, Ala.. Her maiden name was Milly REED. She married Barent DuBOIS and
removed from there to Tallasee, Ala., now Elmore County, Ala., in the year
1832. They removed across the Tallapoosa River in 1846 to Tallapoosa County.
Her husband dying in 1839, and she remained there until the 15th of last May
when she removed to Muskogee, Indian Territory, where she was taken sick soon
after her arrival with dysentery. She died on the 7th after an illness of two
weeks...
