I notice your surname list included Milligan. We may have a connection
there that no one in the Wise family has ever solved. Hope you might can
offer a clue. My Ggrandfather Ephriam Wise, born 1800 Onslow Co, N.C.,
arrived in Barbour Co in the late 1820s with his brother Ezekial. Ephriam
married a Martha Ann (supposedly Milligan) born 1815/1820 probably in Ga. or
N.C. Do you have any knowledge of this Martha Ann or where to start
