Dear Barbara,
I am just in awe of the support that members of the ALBARBOUR group provide
to one another! It is indeed "a place where Barbour researchers become
friends in research across the miles."
Thank you so much for sharing the information on Mr. Jno. M. Alston and Miss
Willie Briggs.
Can you please assist me in understanding the following:
"Index names-
> Alston: A.H., Bob, Gussie, John M., Phillip H., R.A.,
>Willie Briggs
> Norwood: Minnie, Rosa, W.B."
*Do the names that follow A. H. Alston refer to members of his family?
*Are Minnie, Rosa and W. B. all members of the Norwood family?
*Does 'Index names' mean that these folks are also listed in the Book of
Deaths & Marriages? (as A.H. Alston was a cousin of John M. Alston and
Norwood was the maiden name of John's mother!)
Thanks again for your assistance!
Eugenia
