Dear Listers,
It is always more difficult to find present day
relatives.
Six of my Shetland great-grandmother's children emigrated
to Canada at the end of the 19th century.
She was Barbara Laurenson married to Robert Robertson.
I know quite a bit about the next two generations but
would like to get in touch with present day descendants.
I know Martha Robertson's descendants. She married
William Birney and their son was Earle Birney, the poet.
Another daughter married into the Matthias family.
Another descendant Bonnie Hay,a nurse came to visit
me in Aberdeen,Scotland. Later she married a surgeon--
I forget his surname. I would like to get in touch with that family.
