Greetings,

I am searching for information on my husbands family his mother was born Jan 5th 1934 in Edmonton, birth certificate states Pearl (Hadden) Johnson and William Bruce Johnson as parents. His mother passed away 20 yrs ago, she grew up being told that her mother passed away when she was about 2 yrs old. The events that followed get kind of complicated at times. She grew up believing that her name was Patricia Mary Ann McCauley which she married under, (father Edward McCauley) later on she need a birth certificate and thats when she found out she was Patricia Mabel Johnson.
Searching the Edmonton school records she was registered as Patricia Mabel McCauley mother Pearl McCauley, baptism records (at age 6) in the Catholic Church state Patricia Mary McCauley mother Pearl (Hadden) Johnson, sponsors were Thomas McCauley and Ellen McCauley. Father Edward McCauley (who she looked like) no mention anywhere of William Johnson as her father (except on birth certificate)

Edward McCauley was born Sept 17 1914 in Macleod Alberta to Ephraim and Ellen McCauley from Ireland.
Pearl Hadden was born 1912 in Michel B.C.(near Sparwood)

Would appreciate any information on the above people and any ideas as to where to go next to find out if any one is still living. Both Pearl Johnson and Edward McCauley are deceased, my mother in law grew up as an only child she lived with Edwards mother, Edward had a couple of brothers that we have heard of Thomas and Mark, maybe there children would still be in the area. Thanks for letting me ramble on.
