Dear listers: I am new to this list. I am hoping to find someone
with information on early NANTON and on the HAMMILL family. IN 1906
census, there is ALLEN HAMMILL, 32, wife Maud, 30 and baby dau Beryle
2. Next enumerated is Samuel Hammill and wife Mary and dau Olive 35
and Mable 24. They were all born in Ontario.

Does anyone know of a history of NANTON online? or easily accessed?
I think Saumuel Hammill might have homesteaded? but both families
were living in town in 1906. therefore did they have professions/
jobs in town?
