Mrs. Essie B. Garner
Mrs. Essie B. Garner, 89, a resident of Rt 1, Georgiana, died Sunday
September 8, 1985, in a Greenville nursing home.
Funeral services were held September 9, from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel
with the Rev. Billy Croley and the Rev. Arlin Byrd officiating. Burial was in
Morrow Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alvai Vickery and Mrs. Wylene McInVale,
both of Georgiana; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Hicks, Georgiana; two brothers,
Howard Black, Georgiana, Henry Black, Pensacola, Florida; seven granchildren,
five great-grandchildren.
