Dear Mr. Sims,
I am no relation to you that I know of. But my husbands family is from Butler
Co.
My husband is Ernest West he was born in a one room wood house. It was still
standing 8 years ago when we went threw that way.
I am trying to locate some of the relitives. We are West,Hall,Johnson,
Griffin and several others.My husband and his brother Julian went to school
there on the highway. and the homestead was east of the school a mile or so.
The family moved to Burmingham off the farm when my husband was 14. His
brother resided there after coming home from being in the service.
One of my husbands Uncles owned a restrant there in town somewhere.
I am not so farmilar with this as my in laws were long gone when I came to
the family.
If you know of some of these things or can add to mine I would love to hear
from you
