Marty.

I really have almost nothing on John A Bryan except that he came to Alabama
with his uncle John Bryan. He was the son of Lewis Bryan of Raleigh and
Elizabeth Johnson. His mother used to come visit him and apparently was a
very dressed -up woman. I do have what I believe to be his children. He
married Elizabeth Lee dau fo Young Lee and Susan Fail. His daughter
Katherine Alice Bryan m Daniel Dozier Bennett son of Thomas and Prudence
Bennett discussed on this list before. Kate and D. D. Bennett were my
husbands great grandparents. of his daughters , Susan and Sarah m Womacks
and Laura and Katherine m Bennett brothers. I have a picture of Katherine
Alice Bryan on my office wall.

My husbands line goes John and Katherine Alice Bryan Bennett to dau Elizabeth
Lee Bennett(Bessie) m William Lee Andress(from Beatrice). Their child
William Dozier Andress m Gwendolyn Yarbrough m and had Wiliam Dozier
Andress,Jr., my husband.
