I regret that I have sort of put Butler County on the back burner for awhile.
But I have been quite busy with my full time job that little else has taken
priority lately. Hopely after the 1st of September things will be back to
normal, or at least as normal as they possibly can be.

Thanks to Mary Stearnes-Henley, Grady, AL, a survey of the Antioch East
Cemetery is now online. Check it out for your surnames.

I suppose everyone now knows that the deadline is past for the Butler County
Heritage Book. I haven't heard from anyone about the book lately so I cannot
update you as to when those who purchased the book might expect to find them
in their mailbox. Perhaps George Bernard Lewis, the book committee chairman,
will give us an update soon.

We are still hoping more new information for the Butler County ALGenWeb site.
It you haven't visited it lately, check it out. Look thorough some of your
forgotten files and see if there is something you would like to contribute.
Remember, this site is only as good as you want to make it. I have just
about exhausted all of my resources, so your help will be greatly
appreciately.
