Subject: [ALBUTLER] BUTLER CO. HERITAGE BOOK

Dear Listers, The Butler County Heritage Book Committee is drawing their
endeavor to a close, September 30. We have had a long hard year of
learning experience. At the beginning, we
recognized the fact that much pioneer activity coursed Butler and that our
resources were probably
more than adequate to fill a thick book. Within all the enthusiasm of our
small committee, to our
dismay, a segment of our population, still, failed to understand the
importance of recording a segment of their Family lives attached to the
County.
We are so proud of the family articles and of the families that submitted
them. It is such a pleasure
to witness such enthusiasm in some that have untiringly submitted such
articles that adds the "Gold"
to the "Golden Age of the History of Butler County". With all the
topicals, and the pictures of
the 50th Anniversary and Veterans, this BOOK will, surely, be a treasured
family keepsake.
If, by any chance, this is read by anyone who knows their family is not
represented in this book, or
suspicious that none of the family has "bothered", there is ample time to
submit a precious article and
also, you can order a book at the "Pre-published" discount.
Gifts for all occasions can be made with these books at a later date, even
to those who "Have Everything".
