Bo:

Thanks again for your response. Based on the limited data I have, I can
confirm that Josephine Barfield, b. July 25, 1871, and d. December 8, 1918,
whose remains lie above Samuel L. Tisdale, b. November 29, 1856, and d.
August 26, 1921, in the Old Evergreen Cemetery, is the half sister of the
named Samuel L. Tisdale, b. November 1855 and d. August 26, 1921. Josephine
Barfield's mother and Samuel L. Tisdale's mother was Martha Wright Tisdale
Barfield. Reportedly, Josephine Barfield never did marry.

The above mentioned Samuel L. Tisdale was the son of Orlando Christopher
Tisdale.

After the death of Orlando Christopher Tisdale, b. September 04, 1828, and d.
August 06, 1865, Martha Wright Tisdale, b. April 24, 1828, and d. October 12,
1899, married John Ramsey Barfield, b. June 27, 1836, and d. July 13, 1885.
John Ramsey Barfield and Martha Wright Tisdale Barfield were both reportedly
buried in the Concord Methodist Church Cemetery, Conecuh County, AL.

By the marriage of John Ramsey Barfield and Martha Wright Tisdale Barfield,
they apparently had four children by the names of Daniel Ramsey Barfield
(another Daniel Ramsey Barfield), b. abt. 1868, and d. December 3, 1935; Mary
Lula Barfield, b. Abt. November 1869, and d. abt. 1936; Josephine Barfield,
b. July 21, 1871, and d. December 08, 1918; Columbus Barfield, b. unknown and
d. unknown.

As you can see above, there are a lot of missing gaps. If you have any
information that will aid in filling in some of the gaps, I would appreciate
your sharing the information with me.

Best Regards,

John R. Barfield
