Is anyone researching the James Smith family who moved from Butler Co., AL
to Grimes Co., Texas by 1860? James Smith was married to Elizabeth Coleman,
dau. of Dr. John Coleman and his first wife, Nancy Leake.
I have no information on the parentage of James Smith...
only bits of info on his descendants.
