As I mentioned before, my Mother and I were priviledged to meet B'nard Lewis
and Ted Urquhart while we were in Montgomery.

As many of you know, Ted is from Fort Walton FL. His photographic pursuits
have richly enhanced our web site. He is looking for Ulay Black who is said
to have been buried in Milner Cemetery in Georgiana. This is one of the
cemeteries that we visited and I photographed at random quite a few
tombstones. As I am also researching the Black surname, I figured I had
overlooked this particular marker. We returned to the cemetery after
meeting Ted did not find any marker for Ulay Black. If he is buried in
Milner Cemetery, his grave must be unmarked. Can anyone shed a brighter
light on this man?

Also, I must commend B'nard on his survey of Magnolia Cemetery. He has
mapped it almost (if not exact) to scale. I can picture him with tape
measure in hand, laying out the land and putting it to paper. He has done an
excellent job of gathering tombstone data from all of the older section of
the cemetery. We look forward to his completion of the survey, and anxiously
await his decision as to its disposition.

Butler County is so fortunate to have a large number of good researchers who
are willing to share their research with others.
