TP's message reminded me: a family's place of origin would be a very useful
item to have on our posted family sheets. For many of my unknowns, all I
have about them is age and state of birth. For one in particular, I have
been meaning to go through the 1850 census and make a list of all families
from SC to determine my pool of possibilities, but so far have not had time.

By the way, I counted 1211 families on the 1850 census - - 933 in the first
section (Beats 1-9) and 278 in the second section (TWPs 7 and 11, and town of
Greenville).
