Here are my 'two cents' on the Pioneer Family Project. I say use the 1850
census as a cutoff point and also as the base chart since we have family and
dwelling numbers. We should have a list of heads of household listed in
order of family number with a chart similar to this (These are not actual
family numbers or links):



Found in 1840 Census Found In 1830 Census Found In 1820 Census
Family #821 John W. Williams X X X www.family#821
Family #822 Calvin Rhodes X X www.family#822
Family #823 William C. Reddock X X www.family#823



Also if someone is listed in the 1850 census and was a child in an earlier
census, shows links to his parents family group sheet also.

I think this would be a simple way to do it and keep the links organized.
But we would also have to make allowances, if a family was listed in a
census earlier than 1850, and had no one to link to from the 1850 census we
would have to have a page for non-linked heads in earler census'.
